The framed panoramic format is very limiting, but sometimes it's the only wall decor that will fit a certain space. This is a page of some of the best panoramic photos that would be appropriate wall decor. The term "panoramic" in this context usually, but not always, means that the width is about 2½ to 3 times the height. They're available in many sizes, so keep in mind that you can get these as large as 8 ft. long, if you have the money to spend. And if you choose one in the 3-foot range, they can sometimes be very affordable.
There is a skyline panorama available for almost any city you could want, but I'm not a big fan of them. They tend to squeeze too much into the frame, turning magnificent huge skyscrapers into tiny toy building blocks. But if you have an affinity for a particular city, you might want one for personal reasons. There are thousands to choose from at this Art.com skylines page
There are also many excellent scenic views in panoramic format. For the most part, I didn't include them unless they had some extra interest. If you want a panorama of your personal favorite scenic spot for your wall decor, do a search at Art.com with the name of the place and the word "panoramic" in the search.
